Prices and what’s included:

 

Basic session: $195

 

What’s included: 

The photo session, which lasts about 1-2 hours including setup time.  The location is your choice, though generally babies are most comfortable in a familiar place.  For pets the session is shorter, as I’ve never met one yet with the patience for a 2-hour photoshoot!  Basic touch-ups are also included.

 

As part of the basic session fee I will also provide you with ten (10) ‘sheets’.  A sheet can consist of any of the following:

 

1 – 8x10

2 – 5x7’s

3 – 4x6’s

6 – wallet sized

 

There is no limit to the number of ‘poses’, you can make each one different if you prefer.  Up to 5 images can be made into black & white or sepia tone at no extra charge.

 

Here’s something that sets me apart… aside from talent, of course ;)  

I have no interest in holding your pictures hostage!  I will give you a high-resolution CD of all your images - not just the ones you choose to print!  You can print as many as you like in any sizes you want, and even copy the entire CD for family and friends J (normally you’d receive about 15-20 pictures on the CD). 

 

Refer someone and get 5 free sheets!  OR, book a session at the same time as a friend and you'll each get 25% off your sessions.

Basic session

note:  I normally prefer not to shoot more than 3 children during one session, as it becomes too long and tiresome for them.  The exception of course is families with more than 3 kids! 

Pet Portrait session

$125

Includes 10 sheets, touch-ups & CD

DVD with slideshow of your pictures that can be viewed on TV

$40

 

Special Effects, i.e., montages etc. (examples coming soon).

Varies

 

Photo retouching (can be of any picture, not just those that I take).

$25/hour

This is a great way to restore old family photographs, or fix a flaw in an otherwise great shot.

 

Discounts:

 

A second session within one year of the first will be discounted 25%, a third will be discounted by 35%.

BabyPhase

Captures your little cherub’s all-important first year!  Includes a session at 0-3 months, 6, 9 and 12 months (for a total of 4 sessions).

$550.

 

Bellies & Babies

Includes a maternity session and a newborn (0-3 months) session.

$300.

 

Little Star:

This is a portfolio package for those of you who would like to submit photos of your child to modeling agencies.  It includes a mini-shoot with 4-5 images emailed to you (no prints or CD – though of course you can print them yourself).  Good pictures make the difference! (I can provide you with the names and contact information of Montreal’s 4 main agencies).

$95 one session

$150 three sessions in one year

About Me:

I'm a mom of two little angels, a daughter born in 2004 and a son in 2006.  I've worked as a professional rider & trainer, a marketing consultant, and a photographer.  Having my children renewed my passion for photography, and made me want to offer other parents the chance to capture those fleeting and beautiful moments.  That's why I like to take my time and work with children in their own space, and at their own pace.  Of course the same applies to pets (except they're possibly even more challenging to photograph!)

 

For the photo session:

- try to have babies (and pets!) well rested and fed

- think of some props you might like to include: favourite toys, outfits/costumes, hats, etc.

- for adults: in order to focus attention on the subject, it’s best for clothing to be form-fitting and one solid colour.

-text on the image (for example, name and birthdate)

-coloured borders (any colour)

-composite image

-B&W with colour

-filters (blur etc)
